Guide Dogs Queensland seeks young recruits

02 September, 2009

Guide Dogs Queensland (GDQ), is a non-profit organisation located at 1978 Gympie Road, Bald Hills. GDQ empowers blind and vision impaired Queenslanders by helping them achieve mobility, independence and freedom.

GDQ has again appealed to young people to consider a career in guide dog training, following a recent $26,000 recruitment push supported by Brisbane City Council.

Grants provided through the Lord Mayor's Suburban Initiative Fund provided vital support in GDQ's ongoing recruitment efforts and in raising awareness about their services.
